Moreover Refugee activists on their 13th day on hungerstrike tell about the dissappointing meeting with the Minister Johann Mikl-Leitner: “It is a huge success of our protest, that the minister of internal affairs suprisingly did invite us to talk” , says Khan Adalat, “unfortunately the talk itself was a big big disappointment. There was no outcome at all. Nothing new.” The Minister clearly announced that the government is not willing to accept any of the refugees’ demands. The laywer Georg Bürstmayr commented during the night news of Austrian public broadcast yesterday, that some of the refugees’ demands cannot be fulfilled immediately because of European legislation. However Bürstmayr stresses the importance that Austria’s society and politicians reflect on the complete exclusion of the refugees and their wish to have access to the pursuit of happiness as every human being.
