For a new UN Decade for Women

On March 8, organizations, institutions, and politicians, etc. are eager and busy with encouragements, promises, and being in favor of women’s issues. Especially media pay enormous attention to women’s issues and gender equality. The figures on representation of women and women’s issues in the media are rising enormously during the days around March 8.  And then, the voices, successes, contributions, achievements, necessities of women and girls get silenced and under-represented again – until the 16 Days. For real social change and gender equality we need a new UN Decade for Women!
